Well, I've read Eragon but not seen the movie.
Also, I've read Ender's Game and Speaker for the Dead, but that's it.

In response to your questions, 1. Schnitzel was from Hoodwinked. I thought Kirk was amazing and loved the schnitzel song, so...Schnitzel it was!
2. Well, here's stuff that may help:
